About Riverwood Tennis Courts

Riverwood boasts two public tennis courts, open to all and well-maintained by Fingal County Council. These courts provide an excellent space for tennis enthusiasts to practice and play at any time, as they are unlocked throughout the day. While there are no floodlights for nighttime play, the accessibility and quality of the courts make them a favorite among the local community. Tennis is the only permitted activity, ensuring a dedicated space for uninterrupted games.

The courts are occasionally reserved for coaching programs, including Parks Tennis sessions. During July, they are reserved Monday to Friday from 10 AM to 1 PM, and on Saturdays during school terms from 10 AM to 1 PM.

The courts are a hub for both adult and junior coaching. Carpenterstown Tennis Club offers lessons for adults every Saturday at 2 PM and organizes social tennis, friendly matches, and participation in the Fingal Ladies Tennis League. The club welcomes new members and provides great opportunities for players to enjoy match play and skill development in a community setting.
